The City will once again brighten up Downtown Bellflower with holiday cheer when it hosts the 9th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, December 4th. Stop by Friendship Square (located at Bellflower Boulevard and Belmont Street) from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to enjoy the tree lighting and a variety of fun activities.
   
Santa Claus will make a special trip down from the North Pole to the event, so he can personally thank all Bellflower children for being good this past year. BRIM will be on hand, and there will also be holiday musical entertainment, hay wagon rides, arts and crafts, refreshments and a roller blade/roller skating area. Helmets are required to enter the skating area.
